Gearboxes can be supplied ready for electric actuator. That means a valve can be installed with manual gear operation now and motorised later without replacing the valve — useful on projects where automation is a later phase.
05 · Declutch-able Gearboxes
A declutch-able gearbox lets the operator disengage the motorised drive and operate the valve by handwheel, which matters when power is lost and the valve still has to be moved.
